Customer Service Representative

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join one of our major clients as a Customer Service Representative on a temporary basis.

You will responsible for providing excellent customer service and support both internally and to external customers. As a Customer Service Representative will be the first point of contact for any sales orders, bookings and queries. You will maintain a high standard of performance, contributing to achieving the overall department standards and targets and showing a customer centric mindset.

It will be your role to ensure accuracy first time and trouble shoot any issues. As a Customer Service Representative will contribute to ensuring the department is viewed as part of a professional world class organisation.

You will manage customer interactions through phone (inbound calls) and email, maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

Duties will include (but are not limited to)


✓ Processing all types of sales orders and bookings maintaining invoice accuracy
✓ Manage all customer queries, internal and external, taking end to end ownership and provide resolution or
outcome to the end customer in a timely manner
✓ Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, working with other areas of teh business to provide first class service with a customer centric mindset
✓ Provide excellent service at every interaction
✓ Investigating invoices queries to full resolution to enable customer payment

You will have

✓ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, well organised, numerate
✓ Ability to stay calm under pressure, problem solve with both system related and customer issues.
✓ Ability to establish and grow customer relationships through all methods of communication
✓ A self-motivated, committed team player; willing to adopt a collaborative approach
✓ Ability to take initiative to provide solutions
✓ Ability to take ownership of own workload and development
✓ Good understanding of Microsoft package, particularly with Outlook, Word and Excel

This role is offered on a full time temporary basis initially for 6 months (with view to extend) working 37 hours per week in. Customer Service is available between 08:30 and 18:15 and you must be able to work shift patterns during these hours including 08:30 starts and 18:15 finish.
