Senior Civil Engineer

Senior Civil Engineer Location: Leeds Due to continued growth and a strong forward workload, my client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Leeds team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a leading private engineering consultancy, delivering a diverse range of UK-based projects across the residential, retail, commercial, leisure, education, and industrial sectors. Key Responsibilities of this Senior Civil Engineer role; Lead and support a civil engineering team on projects ranging from single-building developments to large-scale schemes across multiple sectors Utilise and demonstrate strong experience in Civil 3D Design civil infrastructure including adoptable roads and drainage systems for residential, commercial, retail, education, and industrial developments Liaise with statutory authorities such as water companies, environmental regulators, and highway authorities Use relevant technical analysis and design software, including AutoCAD, to a high standard Ensure the quality and consistency of technical outputs, including drawings and reports Mentor and support junior engineers Attend and contribute to design meetings, site meetings, and site inspections Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and design teams, providing technical advice where required Manage work in line with agreed budgets and programme deadlinesRequirements for this Senior Civil Engineer position; Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil & Structural Engineering (essential) Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience High proficiency in Civil 3D (essential) Chartership status is desirableWhat They Offer They offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, which may include professional development support, reimbursement of professional membership fees, pension contributions, private healthcare, life insurance, travel loan schemes, additional leave purchase options, and performance-related bonuses.
