Senior NDT Manager

Climb Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading company in the Sheffield area Role: Senior NDT Manager The Senior NDT Manager (Level 3) will serve as the technical authority for the department, overseeing all NDT activities including Radiographic Testing, Dye Penetrant/Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection, and Visual Inspection. Key responsibilities include: - Technical Leadership: Developing and approving NDT procedures and ensuring compliance with NAS410 / EN4179 standards. - Operational Management: Managing department staffing, production planning, and subcontracted NDT services. - Quality & Compliance: Acting as Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS), managing equipment calibration, and coordinating audits. - Team Development: Overseeing Level 1 and 2 technicians and apprentices, including performance reviews and training support.
