They also undertake exception processes including investigations work and submission of MI information. We are looking for a Technical Lead to support the manager to drive forward the Settlements strategy and meet the teams objectives, as a brand new role there is lots of opportunity for growth to make this role your own.What you will be doing:As Technical Lead and SME for the team you will be responsible for balancing a changing list of priorities, supporting the team as the first point of contact for any issues and escalations. You’ll take ownership of the collation and analysis of statistics and KPI’s and managing any process improvements or project work from initial scoping to delivery into the team. key responsibilities:Primary point of contact for the team for all queries and escalationsAnalyse and drive team performance through reporting and MIWork on Settlement projects away from BAUAcquire specialist knowledge to provide accurate advice and information to both internal and external sources in a timely and professional manner, taking full ownership through to resolution.Prioritise workload effectively throughout the day to ensure all SLA’s are met, manage escalation to the Team Manager on a regular basis.Continually look for ways of improving efficiencies, providing potential solutions and follow through to implementation.Coach the team on any identified training gaps and errors made throughout the month.What you bring:Demonstrable experience of working within an Operational environmentProven track record of leading teams within high volume transactional environmentsAbility to proactively manage escalations within the team whilst managing stakeholders’ expectationsAbility to review and implement departmental controls to ensure that team SLAs are metStrong focus on process improvement initiativesA flexible approach to be able to work within a fast paced and changing environmentGood problem-solving skills, identifying root cause and finding resolutionsExperience of identifying risks and issuesAnalysis skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independentlyProficient in MS Office, especially Excel.Ability to evaluate complex issues and make decisionsAudit experienceAbility to look beyond the numbers to identify issues and anomalies and put corrective action in place.Privacy StatementFIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
