Warehouse Supervisor Permanent

Role: Warehouse Supervisor (12 Month FTC, potential for Permanent Role)

Location: Leeds, LS9 - Free Car Parking Available

Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am-2pm, Saturday 7am-3pm

Start: ASAP

Salary: £10.50 per hour (£21,840 per annum)

We are looking to recruit a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor who can be the go-to person for both the team and the Manager. You will be friendly, able to work calmly under busy conditions and provide excellent attention to detail to all that you do. You will be able to keep the team motivated and ensure quality is always to a high standard.

Brief Overview of Responsibilities:

• Supervising 6-8 picker and packers in the warehouse
• Keeping the team motivated
• Liaising with team members and problem-solving issues which arise
• Ensuring orders are picked and ready to be loaded efficiently
• Assisting the team when needed
• Completing relevant warehouse admin daily
• Managing stock levels and forecasting based on upcoming orders
• Assist the Manager with ad-hoc projects within the business
• Monitor Quality and Health & Safety (including disinfecting stations and ensuring the area clear to safely work)
• Recruitment for the team as needed

• Excellent work ethic, be willing to be hands-on and a real team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Recent experience with successfully supervising a team
